Basic Calculations of financial Mathematics

Good afternoon!
Today we will teach you how to make Simple Interest calculations.

Example: If it is applied the principal of $ 2,750 .00 during 1 year and a half (18 months) at a rate of 1.5% per month, which will be the amount at the end of this term?
We know of three variables (principal, interest rate and term) and we want to calculate the amount. To obtain this value with the financial calculator, simply enter the value of these three variables and ask for the calculation of the variable we wish to calculate. Below is the command sequence for the calculation in the HP 12C.

In the first command line was made to clean the financial memories, something that should always be done when you start solving a financial calculation problem (need not be done if you are going to do a multiplication, a calculation of percentage or with dates). In the second line we inform the main value calculator. In the third we reported the value of the interest rate. In the fourth line we inform the period of operation. Finally, in the fifth line is prompted calculating, simply by pressing the key that corresponds to the variable we wish to calculate. The display will show the result.
